Close Encounters
A soggy Saturday morning gave way to sunshine and bacon skies by afternoon.
While Sarah worked on an English essay, Jen, Daisy and I visited Poets’ Walk, overlooking the Hudson in Red Hook.
After our return, Daisy ended up in a face-off with a rather large coyote. Daisy barked ferociously, causing the coyote to retreat — but then it turned and stared Daisy down. It was a bit unnerving.
After dinner, Sarah taught Jen a bit of ukulele. I am hoping we can form a ukulele orchestra.
