Summer Vacation
Here are some of the things we did on our summer vacation.
We took swimming lessons at the town pool …
… and learned to jump off the diving board.
We made some hay …
… and got a tractor of our own.
We took a dip in the Hudson …
… and watched others take a dip in the swamp.
We tended the garden …
… and tried to keep the bunnies at bay.
We ate lobsters …
… and enjoyed the swing …
… and generally had a great time.
We were very sad to lose Barney and Dexter, though.

Hay
At last we are making some hay – and hoping for dry weather for the next few days.
In other news, black raspberries are at their end, but blackberries and wineberries are just getting started, and the rose of sharon has begun to bloom.
